October brings with it cold weather winter crops, like kale, spinach,
some lettuces, peas, kale, Brussels sprouts, broccoli, cabbage, cauliflower,
leeks and early onions,
and from southern areas, like Florida and southern Texas,
strawberries, oranges, sumatras, grapefruit.

79 in the Southern Black Hills of South Dakota about 12 miles
South East of Hot Springs, South Dakota on State Highway 18/385.

10:00 am to 7:30 pm. We use natural practices, but are not yet
certified Organic. Payment: Cash, Check, Debit cards,
Visa/MasterCard, Discover, AmEx, WIC Vouchers, SFMNP Vouchers.
Grandma's Farm & Zoo is USDA licensed and inspected. We are also
a National Wildlife Federation accredited Backyard Habitat for
Wildlife and members of the Hot Springs Chamber of Commerce.
Grandma's Farm & Zoo is a unique farming operation in Western
South Dakota near Mount Rushmore National Memorial. We offer not
only a farmer's market produce stand with fruits, vegetables,
melons, and more but we also have an exotic animal petting zoo,
pony and horse rides, an amusement ride and more. We offer a
family-friendly, affordable experience for the entire family.
