Click here for our Facebook page. A family owned and operated business with two locations. One in Hillsdale, Michigan and one in Coldwater,
Michigan. We have greenhouses for spring bedding plants and nursery stock, Christmas trees (even flocked ones!) and an apple orchard where we
make our own cider! We have something for every season! Our Coldwater location has a bakery as well, where we make donuts, cinnamon rolls, and
fudge! The weekends between Thanksgiving and Christmas are some of the busiest times here at Glei's. We have several precut trees to choose from
in all shapes and sizes. Or you can go out into the field and cut your own - we even have loner saws. If you want something a little different,
try having a tree flocked - colors vary by year, but white, black, red, blue, and green are favorites. Poinsettias: It simply wouldn't be the
holidays without the vast display of poinsettias in every color imaginable filling the greenhouse. We provide several churches with their
holiday orders, and for the last couple years, our poinsettias can be seen in the background on the Channel 10 news.

We will create a
sustainable market that, as part of a larger food system, will
provide a) all Eastside residents with access to affordable,
locally-grown produce and other locally processed foods and b)
small local farmers and artisans with an economically viable
market for their goods. Most importantly, we will build
rural-urban connections and grower-neighbor friendships that
contribute to a secure and equitable food system. Our first
market season in 2004 was just 10 weeks long, featuring 4 female
farmers. In 2005, we became the first market in Michigan to
accept EBT/SNAP food assistance! We have increased our
accessibility to our widely diverse neighbors by accepting a
variety of payment options, including EBT, year-round Double Up
Food Bucks, WIC and Market Fresh coupons, Hoophouses for Health
vouchers, and credit/debit cards. (UPDATED: June 20, 2019, JBS)

enjoy one of the most authentic urban adventures in the United
States.
(ADDED: January 07, 2011, suggested by a visitor)
Comments from a visitor on January 07, 2011: "The market
and the adjacent district are rare finds in a global economy - a
local food district with more than 250 independent vendors and
merchants processing, wholesaling, and retailing food. In
addition to its Saturday Market, Eastern Market holds Flower Day
one of the largest flower shows in the country. Check their
website for more details! As of July, 2007 Eastern Market
accepts the Bridge Card. Which I personally think is amazing for
lower income families that want good, healthy, locally grown
food. Check their website for more details about how to use your
Bridge Card at Eastern Market!"
