September brings with it cold weather winter crops, like kale, spinach,
some lettuces, peas, kale, Brussels sprouts, broccoli, cabbage, cauliflower,
leeks and early onions,
and from southern areas, like Florida and southern Texas,
strawberries, oranges, sumatras, grapefruit.

produce. Directions: Just off I-4 between Lakeland and Plant
City. Coming from the East, use Kathleen Road exit, head North,
turn left onto Knight-Griffin Road, turn right at Shady Oak
Drive East. OR coming from the West, use highway 39 exit, go
north to Knight-Griffin Road turn right, just after you enter
Polk County, turn left onto Shady Oak Drive East.
Strawberries-February and March, Blueberries-April to mid-June,
Vegetables seasonally (call for specifics), Grapes-August.
Payment: Cash, Debit cards, Visa/MasterCard. We have a wonderful
pond with ducks and encourage picnicking under the shady oaks!!.
