What's in season in September 2018, and other timely information:
September brings with it the Fall harvest of many crops, from
apples to many vegetables, and the ability to buy
locally, soon col weather crops, like spinach,
some lettuces, peas, kale, Brussels sprouts, broccoli, cauliflower, leeks and
early onions, plus fresh winter squash, pumpkins and more.

there is a Strawberry Festival at the Brookings Farmers Market!
We will have a variety of strawbery-themed activities available
for kids and adults. Vendors will have a selection of strawberry
goodies available for sale.
