Directions: See their website for directions. Payment: Cash, only. "Warren County residents have been fortunate enough to have a Farmers' Market for 35 years. Annually, folks who grow vegetables, fruit, flowers, and more meet each Saturday during the summer and fall months and offer their wares to those who wish to purchase organic foods, fresh baked goodies, seasonal maple syrup, or plants. This year the leaders of the Warren Farmers' Market have decided to start a little earlier, allowing those vendors who have ware to sell the opportunity to do so before the traditional beginning of the market in July. Folks might ask why anyone would like to shop at a Farmers' Market. The reasons are many. First you purchase vegetables and fruits from the folks who grew them. You can also purchase organically grown meats and eggs or freshly baked bread, rolls, cakes, pies or cookies. You can purchase perennials that can be used to enhance your property and fresh cut flowers to brighten the interior of your home. Several vendors offer home canned relishes, jellies, salsas, mustards and more. If you don't like to can but enjoy freshly made items, this is a great place to shop." from their website (ADDED: July 14, 2011, suggested by a visitor)
Comments from a visitor on July 14, 2011:
"I thought the variety was great, plenty of booths set up to choose from. It is a bit odd shopping a farmers market in an parking lot though. You think 'farmers market' you think green grass, open fields, a park would be nice ...I guess they couldn't find any other place to hold it!"
