April brings with it cold weather winter crops, like kale, spinach, some lettuces, peas, kale, Brussels sprouts, broccoli, cabbage, cauliflower, leeks and early onions, and from southern areas, like Florida and southern Texas, strawberries, oranges, sumatras, grapefruit.

Our nearest crossroad is Beardall Avenue From Sanford take 25th street towards Mims and turn left on Beardall. Follow Beardall to the end (about one mile) and then turn left and we are the first house on the left. The sign reads Meriwether Farms. The oranges are located on a deck connected to a metal barn. Meriwether Citrus Fruit has pre-picked citrus fruit from November through May. We have Navel Oranges, Red Navel Oranges, Tangerines, Tangelos and Ambersweet Oranges from November through January; We have Sweet Flaming Red Grapefruit fro November through May We have Pineapple Juice Oranges from January through March.
