A visitor writes on October 07, 2014: "Last week a friend & I drove 1/2 hour away to Janssens' as it was the only U-Pick orchard we could find that was open past our work & school hours. However, once we got there, it wasn't quite what we expected. Thankfully there were 2 men outside, so we asked them if they're still open for the pick your own apples. His response was that they 'don't really do that anymore', despite the faded sign that still says U-Pick. At least we were still able to buy a bushel of apples for a good price, but it was a shame to drive so far out of our way for the experience of picking our own, & not being able to. So I am writing you in hopes that I can save others from the same disappointment & ask that you please change the phrasing on your site so that people don't mistake it for still being a U-Pick orchard. Though I must say that the worker there was very friendly & the apples have made lots of tasty treats! It actually just looked like a regular farm house driveway, so I wouldn't say it's really a market either. However, they did have ample stock of apples & other produce in pallets & bins sitting outside & under a covering/garage. The man we dealt with did mention which markets nearby they take their products to, so I doubt they get many people going there to buy direct. "
